It's May Day.
So I was looking online at my current calandering usage and discovered it is also International Labor Day. Is that important to me? No, not really. I am here at work and the development server is down [I have been informed due to overheating problems]. So I am trying to find something really substantial to work on. This means nothing really to me other than I am bored.
So sitting around, doing absolutely nothing I have gone into conspiracy theorist mode and come up with outlandish reasons why the server went down for the day. Currently the great idea has something to do with the illegal immigrations protests happening accross the country. Its a crack pot theory but still it is the leading theory of the day. Okay it is my leading theory of the day.
As I have been at work for over 4 hours already, this is getting interesting to me. I cant do anything because I cant get to the server, and I am not leaving because I want and need the money.
So I get to sit and stare at the computer screen in front of me. I have tried to install various things thru out the day but everytime i think of something that my Linux installation could use, I end up not being able to install it due to a lack of one thing or another. It sucks, big time.
Well the day is winding down. I am actually to the point of thinking about going home and getting a head start on what has to happen next. This evening the ward is having a opening social at the Bishop's house up in Orem that starts at 6:30 or so. I plan on going but have to put in the judgement call of having to be up and moving at 7:00am tomorrow for my Stat 292 class. I fear that with the beginning of the Spring Term I am looking at a long summer.
