Okay with most things, playing of shotgun is a rather passive pastime and even then only when I can find it annoys other people.
This evening, I tagged along with a group that decided to go do a rope course out by the lake. I wasn't feel up to the rope course but I did want to watch. I had no choice but to sit in the back seat of the a friends 07 Sentra on the way out to the place. [It is a nice back seat, not a lot of leg room.]
Once people had their 1 and half worth of fun, we started towards the car. I immediately said 'shotgun' [didnt want to sit in the back again]. Within the same breath i muttered 'no battle'. Now having played shotgun several different ways, and not knowing what way was last played with Leroy [person in the front seat on trip out], I felt safe.
I ended up telling Leroy about the pistols caveat and the battle caveat to shotgun. I feel that this decision will come and bite me in the ass...but you know it should be fun.
